What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards. Wire transfer is available by request.
Is there financing available?
Financing is available and offered through United Midwest Bank (The Piano Credit Company). You can apply for financing by filling out the pre-approval application below, or by calling 866-75-PIANO (866-757-4266).
Is your payment processing secure?
Your payment is managed by Shopify, an industry leader in online payment processing and is safe and secure.
How is my new piano going to be delivered? Is assembly available?
Every piano purchased from thepianoguyspianostore.com is shipped new, in the original box and includes a scheduled home delivery service. The piano will be on a custom built pallet to ensure the safe transportation of your investment. Our warehouse will ship your piano within three business days of your order, at which time you will receive tracking information. All shipments are sent via LTL (less than truckload) carriers. The carrier will contact you to schedule your 4-hour delivery window.
Deliveries covered under our “Free Shipping” program are made to the front door or garage located on a first floor with no steps. “Free Shipping” is only available in the lower 48 contiguous states. Alaska and Hawaii residents, please call or chat with us for a customized quote for shipping.
For any deliveries requiring stairs, freight elevators, or any other special circumstances, please choose one of our three upgraded delivery options at checkout or chat with us prior to making your purchase. We can handle any scenario!

When your new Clavinova arrives, we know you’re eager to play—not sort through boxes or search for assembly tools.
Our Full Assembly – White Glove Service offers a premium in-home setup experience that takes you from delivery to your first note—seamlessly. Our trained team will bring your piano into the room of your choice, (one flight of stairs included) carefully unbox and assemble it, and remove all packing materials when we’re done.

My piano arrived damaged, what should I do?
Shipping and freight damage are rare but can occur on occasion. Please do not refuse a shipment. This makes the claim process more difficult. Accept the delivery, take pictures, and make sure the carrier notates any damages on their Bill of Lading along with your initials. Then, inspect the contents of the box. Most of the time, exterior damage does not reflect damage to the piano itself. These boxes are designed to protect the piano from such damage. However, if the damage is in fact discovered, take pictures and contact us from our Support Request form.
What is your return policy?
New Yamaha pianos purchased from thepianoguyspianostore.com come with a 14-day return policy (from date of delivery). Items must be returned in the same condition which they were received, in the original packaging and with all accessories and documentation. If your piano was originally shipped under our free shipping program, the cost of the original outbound freight will be deducted from the refund amount. All returns must be approved prior to returning your instrument. Please contact us from our Support Request form to start the return process. Any items retuned without prior authorization or missing accessories may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.
If an order is cancelled prior to shipping, we will gladly refund your order to the original payment method, minus any processing fees charged by the credit card or finance company. Fees range from 3-10% depending on funding source and any special financing terms applied.
What is your warranty?
All new Yamaha pianos purchased from thepianoguyspianostore.com carry the original manufacturer’s warranty. All Yamaha Clavinova and AvantGrand pianos come with a full 5-year parts and labor warranty.
How do I file a warranty claim?
If you have any issues with your piano during the warranty period, please contact us from our Support Request form.
