Payment Options

We accept all major credit/debit cards. Wire transfer is available by request.

Financing is available and offered through Synchrony Bank and United Midwest Bank (Piano Credit Company). You can apply for financing by calling 866-75-PIANO (866-757-4266).  Online application processing coming soon!

Your payment is managed by Shopify, an industry leader in online payment processing and is safe and secure.

Delivery

All pianos purchased from thepianoguyspianostore.com are shipped new, in the original box and include scheduled home delivery service. The piano will be on a pallet to ensure the safe transportation of your investment.  Our warehouse will ship your piano within three business days of your order, at which time you will receive tracking information.  All shipments are sent via LTL (less than truckload) carriers.  The carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery. 

Deliveries covered under our “Free Shipping” program are made to the front door or garage located on a first floor with no steps. “Free Shipping” is only available in the lower 48 contiguous states. Alaska and Hawaii residents, please call or chat with us for a customized quote for shipping. 

For any deliveries requiring stairs, freight elevators, or any other special circumstances, please chat with us prior to making your purchase as additional fees may be necessary. 

In-home delivery options are also available. In-home delivery includes putting the piano in the home, in the room you desire (ground floor), and the pallet hauled away.  In-home delivery does not include assembly of your piano. 

For assembly, we recommend enlisting the assistance of a friend, neighbor, or handyman service.  The process of assembly is not difficult, but an extra set of hands is always highly recommended.

Shipping and freight damage are rare but can occur on occasion. Please do not refuse a shipment. This makes the claim process more difficult. Accept the delivery, take pictures, and make sure the carrier notates any damages on their Bill of Lading along with your initials. Then, inspect the contents of the box. Most of the time, exterior damage does not reflect damage to the piano itself. These boxes are designed to protect the piano from such damage. However, if the damage is in fact discovered, take pictures and contact us from our Support Request form.

Return Policy

New Yamaha pianos purchased from thepianoguyspianostore.com come with a 14-day return policy (from date of delivery). Items must be returned in the same condition which they were received, in the original packaging and with all accessories and documentation. If your piano was originally shipped under our free shipping program, the cost of the original outbound freight will be deducted from the refund amount. All returns must be approved prior to returning your instrument.  Please contact us from our Support Request form to start the return process. Any items retuned without prior authorization or missing accessories may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.

Warranty

All new Yamaha pianos purchased from thepianoguyspianostore.com carry the original manufacturer’s warranty. All Yamaha Clavinova and AvantGrand pianos come with a full 5-year parts and labor warranty.
